My Resume

  • I am a problem solver. I find patterns in the data, understand and break down complex social intricacies, and design solutions that drive actionable success.

There are 2 types of early career designers. Designers who make pretty designs, and designers who solve problems. While I do have a flair for design, my skills are more geared towards finding solutions.

I’m a designer that makes cool shit. I blend analytics and empathy with an eye toward sustainability to solve real-world problems. My products sell because I create products they actually need. The value I bring is far beyond my years, and you need me on your team.

  • I’ve been in a lot of different careers. It has been so positive and beneficial. I have experienced so much professional skill and personal growth. So many of these skills overlap with the skills needed to be successful in UX.

Ultimately, I want to help create a better life for people and society, and I want to have fun doing it. I want a career where I can channel my abilities towards the change I want to see in the world.

  • I’m a new designer. I have designed and launched successful tangible products in the past. But I am looking for my first UX/UI Design role.

Being new means lacking confidence. I understand that I have a lot to learn, and that’s why I rely so heavily on data-driven solutions. I am eager to learn from any mentors and improve my designer eye.

  • at City Winery D.C., I was able to design and create a wonderful product. Our product list was very traditional, and needed something stylistically different to appeal to more customers. I created a new wine, a “white” Cabernet Sauvignon. This unique wine was only at our location, and was often featured in our tasting room and wine events. It created an intense customer following and sold incredibly well. It was dazzlingly pink with notes of strawberries, raspberries, and peaches, and finished with just a touch of sweetness. Understanding our customer base, and what they were looking for, made this wine an instant success.

  • At Hugger Mugger Brewing, I was able to be a part of designing multiple beers, ultimately allowing me to completely design my own beer. Through ample market research, analytics, and my own quest for creativity, Through the Sourglass was born. This Blackberry Grapefruit Gose was unlike anything else on the market, and immediately became a fan favorite! On untappd, it received an overall review score of 3.95 stars, the second highest in company history, and was one of the fasting selling beers ever produced at Hugger Mugger Brewing.
